UC fee babble...

It’s funny to read about the latest UC fee nonsense…none of that money students will be paying will go towards ANYTHING to do with their actual education.

That’s because in California, you can’t charge residents tuition. It’s in the Constitution. Really.

So instead, they shift the admin costs, including those executive salaries, on to students. We’re essentially making college, which other countries, like China and India seem to value, either for the rich or for those willing to go into 100,000+ into debt.

Even funnier? You could read a copy of the Santa Cruz Independent, circa 1990, and the issues were the same then as they are now. And likewise, no one really cares. California sucks!
